Fall is here!

Well we have had a great two weeks. Brady turned five, we had a bowling party, and we had MomMom and PopPop here from Florida! Which was awesome! The kids love it when they visit. Then this weekend we went to Sauvies Island to the pumpkin patch with Grandma and Papa! Oh the fun was had today. We put Grandma and Papa to work, kids picked out the pumpkins but somehow the grandparents were stuck carrying them!?! It was a good time. Have fun viewing our slideshow. Day at the Beach

Went to one of our favorite beaches in Oregon. Rockaway is such a great little town, and the kids had a blast in the sand for sure! Quick trip but it was worth the drive. Enjoy! Love the Kempf's

Vandal Game in Seattle and the Week before

Well it has been awhile.... Very busy over here. This weekend was the best! Erik and I were lucky enough to go up to Seattle while Grandma watched the kiddos, and we were out of the house early man. It was a full day for grandma and papa the kids had fun but the parents had even MORE fun! Went by boat to the Husky Stadium and cruised around with friends. Tail gated and watched a great football game between University of Idaho and U of Washington. No the U of Idaho, Vandals did not pull out a win, but they did well. Erik and I had so much fun with the McCray's and the Pool's. Good times and good friends nothing better than that. I (Nicola) even pulled out a 10K race with some girlfriends here in Portland this early Sunday morning. I did fine, I was a little tuckered out from the day/night before but I finished with an acceptable time for sure. The other pictures are of our children with the Duke's kiddos. They have so much fun with them playing, being very very silly and I guess eating. Those three things they do together and well. We are so lucky to have them living right down the street and to be able to spend time with them on a weekly basis. Life is good folks. Enjoy the pics. Take care, The Kempf Family

The Kempf's do Seattle!

Well we flew the coup! The Kempf family had a mini "vaca" and went up to Bainbridge Island and Seattle. We really had a great time. In the scurry to get out of the house with everything possible for a 4 year old, 3 year old, and 1 year old we left our battery charger for one camera and our good camera at Papa and Grandma's! Sweet! We actually offically ran our kids ragged over the weekend. We went on one beautiful ferry boat ride, where it rocked the kids minds on how we pulled in our car onto the boat. Saw the sights on the unbelievable Bainbridge Island. Took the ferry boat back, went to the Boeing Air Museum. The boys loved it, I mean really loved it. Erik was a kid in a candy store there. Planes, planes, planes!!! We even fit in two trips to the pool at the hotel. Then this morning we woke up and went to the Pike's Farmers Market in downtown Seattle. Oh it was a good time. The fish, the flowers, and the oh so juicy peaches!!! Dribble dribble they went down our chins. We are currently back at the grandparents, and Erik is getting ready for the big pack up the Tampa place which begins tomorrow! Take care, The Kempf's

Yep our Messy Mason is THREE!!!!

Well, we have gone to the zoo, potty trained Mason(kind of sort of...mostly if you remind him that is...), got Braden to ride a big boy bike, and we just finished up Mason's third birthday. All in a mere couple of weeks. We have been super busy. Delaney is hanging in there, becoming quite vocal about her desires and is completely on the go all the time!!! Whoo that girl can run! She loves to do what her brothers are doing and it really doesn't matter what it is. Braden and Mason continue to go swimming and amaze Erik and I everytime. Brady is now going off the diving board and doing pretty good cannon balls. While Mason just started to dabble in back floating, we've been trying to get him to do this for months. That's about it for us. No new news on the house or that would of been the first line no doubt. Much love, The Kempf's

Summer Fun

Hello everyone!
We are just chillin' in the Couv right now at Papa and Grandma's house, having a wonderful Washington/Oregon summer so far! We have seen a lot of our old friends, and we pretty much have taken over the parks here in Vancouver. The kids just love being outside all the time. So thats what we do, wake up, eat, find a cool park, come home eat, nap, wake up and go outside once again....it is a beautiful cycle. Still waiting not so patiently for our Tampa home to sell but until then we are are just loving being back in the NW. Here are some old pic and new pics. Enjoy and take care, The Kempf Family

Nickelodoen Hotel Time

Well we had to leave for the weekend, get out of dodge if you will. We went with our friends' the Nowlan's minus Kerry and Sean (daddy and son). They had to stay home but we stole Jamie and Kayla, and we had fun with a capitol F!!!! Great time, the kids went nuts, it was so geared for them as you will see. Laney was a little rough, not loving her crib, and wanting to crawl everywhere the boys did not want to go basically...so that was a juggling act. But the boys and Kayla seriously had a ball. Pool Time

Here is just a sample of a day at the pool with the Kempf's. Mason is a complete maniac, no shocker there. Now that he can hold his breath and move his arms and legs a bit, he feels like he can go out there when ever his little heart moves him. So you have to watch him like a hawk for sure!! No more hanging on the steps for that little guy. Laney was not too pumped for what ever reason today, maybe it was just a girl day for her?! Easter and more...

We have been busy bees here in Tampa, Florida. Easter bunny came and went...leaving hopped up kids and sugar remnants around the house. Aunt Heather and her family came for a quick visit. Which was so awesome!! The kids have such fun together playing it is cool to watch them interact. Mommy had a birthday and got to hit the town with our good friends here in Tampa and her favorite sister and brother in law. And then MomMom stayed while everyone split and helped me for the first part of the week. Which was wonderful! I got to run errands, and actually run by myself. The last 3 weeks

In the last three weeks we have been very very very busy. Playing hard with Tampa friends, then Ladies Weekend for Nicola, pool times, and then Busch Gardens again this Sunday! The pictures speak for themselves enjoy! Easter is around the corner so we need to go find the Easter bunny...hippity hop hippity hop!

The Russo's are coming, the Russo's are coming!

Erik's best friend (Russo)and his family (Chandra, Alexis and Paige) came this weekend and it was the best! We had such a great time. His girls were such a big help with the kids, they entertained them all day and basically took care of Delaney the entire weekend. She now doesn't know what to do with herself all alone again. We hit Busch Gardens, the pool, the slip and slide, and a couple of restaurants. We are all really tuckered out and miss them already. Also, Braden was at PopPop and MomMom's this week with Erik and he was able to go fishing. He caught three good sized snapper. He was a little king over there going to the beach and pool. It was an action packed week but good times were had. Lots of love, The Kempf's

What a WEEK!

Well, it was a long one. Erik had to travel two days this week so right there Mommy was very tired by the time he got home on Thursday night. But he travels so much less these days it has been nice. Then on Friday, Daddy had to have his tooth pulled! Ouchy! Well mommy and the kids have to wait for him in the office it is part of the policy when being put under....Well, we decided to be ultra prepared, and rent some new movies, bring the dvd player, new snacks, books, toys, and a huge bonus a stop for smoothies for something different. Smoothies are easy right??!! Lids, drink through a straw, I mean really how much more contained can we get? Well two mins.from the office, our Messy Marvin poked hole or broke the cup some how and he was covered head to toe in good ole strawberry banana smoothie. I mean, he had to sit in the dentists office in a diaper, spotted shirt and socks that is it!!!!!! It was a total mess. NO longer than we finally sit down to watch our newly rented movies, our Braden accidentally drops his. ALL over the floor, the glass back splash (yes a very fancy office) it was a complete mess! I mopped it up with paper towels liquid soap. I get that all cleaned up and sure enough Messy Marvin strikes again spilling an entire bag of orange goldfish crackers on the floor. I won't even get into the million times Delaney dropped her sippy cup making little puddles all over the office....It was quite the scene I tell you. The weekend got better as Daddy's tooth or lack there of tooth healed. We went swimming on Saturday afternoon. It was such a warm beautiful day. Even Miss D got in the pool. She kicks her legs so hard she is hard to hold onto. She is a splasher! Mason will go under holding onto Erik's neck and swimming under water. He loves that. Now Braden is a complete tad pole, he swims by doing the actual crawl. Dives down from a step to get things off the bottom. It is amazing he just goes and goes and goes!! Ps. Our Mason has pink eye too now..who knows where or how he got it??!! Erik is out pharmacy shopping at 7:00 pm on a Sunday right now. OH goodness!!!!!!!! Wish us luck.

Game Weekend

Braden had his first game this Saturday! And by the second inning he wondered when we were leaving??! He did great though. He hit the ball well, he would watch it go and then he would start his run to first. It was hilarious! This baseball is set up nicely for the kids. EVERYONE gets up to bat each inning, and they attempt to make an out. Then after the third inning the game is over, we shake hands and off we go. So it goes pretty quickly. Mommy knows now to bring way more treats for the toddlers on the side lines, and maybe a few more toys. Mason ate some dirt while waiting and Delaney cooed to the people in the stands. Then after the game we went to our neighborhood Family Fun Day. The kids liked that as well. Fished for candy, tattoos,popcorn, cotton candy and riding the ponies. A good ole time for everyone! Then after dinner we visited with some good friends. Busy busy weekend!
